Many brands have been meaning for some time to associate the well-known video game license with a potentially good or even excellent idea. The problem is that sometimes the result doesn’t live up to fans’ expectations. We have witnessed some major headline setbacks that have burned our canvas a bit. Of course, we can hardly look into H&M’s collaboration with League of Legends X, which is more affordable but whose design is worthy of a high-level graphic design student. We quietly review Bershka’s collab with interstellar flavor.
Pokemon X Converse: With Honor
On the Pokemon side, it will take a long time to list all the collabs available. The license has been in effect for over 25 years, and over time many brands have breathed their last with one of the most popular games in the world. Ready to level up, lots to do and As for League of Legends, the game could not escape some horrors caused by confused minds.. This time, Converse went straight to the point and that the result was pretty convincing. The Pokémon Company and the Japanese subsidiary of Converse have teamed up to create four new models. Everything is united and in pastel colors! You can choose from four pairs inspired by Pikachu, Eevee, Charizard and Mewtwo., among the most famous Pokémon of the first generation. Each model comes with a small description of the Pokemon and the Poke Ball, depending on the pair.
Is it available in France or not?
Unfortunately, preliminary information seems to indicate that these models will only be available in Japan. Marketing should begin in June 2022 and each pair will be less than 9900 yen or 74 euros.. A more than reasonable price when you know that the starting price of the basic Converse pair is 65€.
This is not the first foray of an American brand into the world of video games.. In 2011, Converse teamed up with Super Mario to celebrate the game’s 25th anniversary.. You can see the scenes of the game as well as the most famous plumber or license characters.
