1047 Games, creator of the battle royale shooter Splitgate, announced that it has partnered with Amazon Prime Gaming and several pro teams for the Splitgate Pro series.

The announcement was made today, May 9, one month before the start of the June 2022 summer season. Produced by Logitech G Esports Services, this season, 6 professional teams compete for an increased prize pool of 500,000 $. Each team – Luminosity, SSG, eUnited, T1, XSET, and Moist Esports – has been officially added to the roster as of this writing.

This is the second competitive season Splitgate is hosting this year, while its winter counterpart will take place in February 2022.

In addition to sponsorship, Amazon Prime Gaming also offers its subscribers rare and special offers through Prime Gaming to show the game to more interested players.
