T1 are not the first LCK team to be affected. Mid-March, Fredit BRION had to leave his roster for defiling several members. The LCK later relaxed the rules and allowed players to play remotely if a case of COVID was discovered in the team.
“We would like to inform fans that League of Legends T1 team members playing on LCK, Zeus, Oner, Faker, Keria and Moment had a positive statement today regarding COVID-19. While testing on Gumaius, Asper, Bang and Polt were negative, we are. We are making sure to keep them safe.
They will be quarantined until April 9 on government instructions and will be assessed at the organization’s offices. We’re making sure players get enough rest during this time and have everything they need to recover quickly.
