The Worlds 2022 Azir skin was announced on September 8 as the official skin for this year’s League of Legends World Championship.
Riot Games releases commemorative skins for the League of Legends World Championship event every year. Each skin traditionally has a blue and gray theme reflecting the tournament Summoner’s Cup trophy. Past champions include Jarvan IV, Thresh, Shivana, Zedd, and many more.

As of press time, the Worlds 2022 Azir promotional image has yet to be released by Riot Games. However, the preview trailer offers some revealing glimpses of the skin. In Azir’s 20-second clip, we see The Sand Emperor looking quite robotic and futuristic, which might not be for everyone.
Prior to 2016, championship skins were priced at 975 RP. Since then, Championship Ashe, Kha’Zix, Ryze, and LeBlanc have all been priced at 1,350 RP. The new Azir skin should also be more expensive as an epic tier skin.
Worlds 2022 Azir is expected to arrive with new Fright Night skins in patch 12.18, which is scheduled to be released on servers on September 22, 2022. Maybe the skin will come later, but we have to wait for Riot’s approval. Games.
