League of Legends Patch 12.6 will bring many new cosmetics to Summoner’s Rift, including an all-new Battle Bunny Riven-inspired theme: ANIMA Squad. So Broken Exile will get an updated and fixed skin from before, but not only because 4 more champions have been selected: Jinx, Sylas, Vayne and Miss Fortune. The bonus hunter will get his 16th appearance, where he will be the three characters with the most costumes in the game, along with Ezreal and Lux. (Ahri only has 14 in case you were wondering).
Not all champions celebrate this much, and some have been looking forward to a new skin for a long time, especially the two champions where the wait seems endless.
Redesign and that’s it?
The two champions studied were Dr. Mundo and Fidlestics.
- Frozen Prince Mundo – December 2018
- Praetorian Fiddle Sticks – November 2018
We’re not going to be honest, both of these champions have had a complete overhaul – tTherefore, all his old skins have been revamped to meet the expectations of players.. Anyway, Night Dread has been in the works for two years, so Fiddlesticks has apparently fallen off Riot Games’ radar when it comes to skins. Admittedly, the champion isn’t the most popular (3.4% pick), but still deserves some love.
Our favorite practitioner, Dr. Mundo is much the same. His redesign arrived in early June 2021, just a year ago, but still hasn’t received a costume since 2018.
Will skins 2 soon be forgotten?
Soon everything will have to change for one or the other. In early 2022, Riot Games announced their plans for next year regarding upcoming skins and themes.
For example, the bee theme is already back, new ANIMA skins will appear in the next patch, and old sets like the West set or the Star Guardians set will reappear.
In recent years, Riot Games has compiled a list of champions who have not been skinned for more than 1000 days, the famous 1000 Day Club, so there are currently only two champions. The studio’s goal is to completely empty by 2022. The Fiddlesticks skin has already been confirmed (although we don’t yet know which theme has been chosen). No announcements have been made for Zaun’s Madman, but by Riot’s logic, he’ll get a new look by 2023. it will be revamped very soon – to Udir, who hasn’t received a new skin since August 2019.
