League of Legends patch 12.16 has been confirmed to be available soon. New League of Legends patches usually come with various champion and system buffs, nerfs and adjustments that signify champion viability, and which champions are the strongest in meta changes usually after the patch.

League of Legends patch 12.16 is set to release on August 24. The patch will be released around 03:00 PT (NA servers), 05:00 GMT (EUW servers), 03:00 CET (EUNE servers) and 08:00 KST (Korean servers). Players should wait for the servers to be down for a short while while the new update is released.
A tweet from League of Legends developer Matt Leung-Harrison, known as @RiotPhroxzon on Twitterrevealed the big changes coming to champions in the patch. Patch 12.16 will see Tristana, Zoe, Irelia, Caitlin, Kai’sa, Jace, Vladimir, Malphite, and Zira. The patch will also see nerfs to Zeri, Yuumi, Draven, and Poppy. Finally, Evershroud gets a buff and Diana gets a minor adjustment to her passive damage and E AP ratio.
