Heo “Hun” Seung-hun of TSM, the North American organization and veteran top laner, announced on Tuesday that he is retiring from professional League of Legends.
Competing against the world’s top League of Legends teams including Fnatic, Immortals, SK Telecom T1 and TSM since 2015, Hun’s nearly eight-year career comes to an end in 2022 after continuing to battle recurring wrist injuries. It seems his plan is to continue working in the esports industry.

“It was fun being a pro player in League of Legends,” Huni said in the Anon video. “I hope people miss me as a fun top laner, I guess. He’s no ordinary top laner. I hope so. [ranked] maybe top 10 [of all-time]”
On July 12, TSM announced that Huni had decided to drop out of the starting lineup due to injuries. About a week later, Hun officially became TSM’s head coach in the middle of the summer break.

In a TwitLonger post, Huni announced that his contract with TSM had officially been terminated.
“I’m in a position where I can’t play anymore, so I’ve decided to retire,” Hoon said in a statement. Said. “I haven’t decided yet what to do in the future, but I hope to stay in the esports industry because I haven’t won the LCS yet, so maybe it’s time to win as a person ?”
“I’m really looking forward to a new start in my life, I hope everyone is doing well!”
As mentioned in his retirement video, Hooney has 549 career games, four championships and three world titles.
