Last week in France was very important for both teams. They had to face their opponents directly at the general table of the tournament, but neither of the two teams hosting the French representative could win. Were the rivals of Hans Samas and Tukui too strong? Did the players miss the game? Zoom in on the linked performances of the last week.

Hans is the backbone of his team
Against the evil geniuses, Team Liquid started with a very aggressive lineup with Lucian top, Galio mid, and Ezreal botlane. He played the role of Hans perfectly, which became a real pain for the opponents. But his incredible 43% team injury stat has to be tempered by Ezreal’s strength in the poker department. Not all damage is absolutely decisive, and giving a returning player 200 points with or without that damage isn’t that important after all, except for confidence. This explains why he didn’t get a higher rating compared to our CoreJJ MVP match, thanks to his ubiquity on the map. With all due respect, Hans achieved a high performance of almost 1 km/min with damage, but we must not forget that he was in ideal conditions for this. His match against C9, on the other hand, was more impressive, culminating just before the tenth minute. Hans struggled throughout the game in his Zeri and was partly responsible for the team’s comeback until the game finally slipped in the 29th minute. The French achieved their best performance of the week during the defeat, it’s sad but it’s the law of sport. Even though Team Liquid wasn’t at their best, C9 was in good shape but it will be a playoff rematch.
A difficult week for Tukuil
The analysis of the tricolor game in the match against CLG is quite simple. Miss Syndra had almost no effect on the game, although she should have banished the distinction between Palafox and Twisted Fate from the map. Tukui did very little damage, but still took a lot of resources in this episode. You can’t say he made a big mistake, but he couldn’t weigh in this game.
Analyzing the next game is much more difficult. Tukui directed his Ahri to the best of his abilities, but frankly lacked “good” goals to fascinate. The FBI jeans might have been a good target, but like Abedage Wax, they were well protected. 100 Thieves had the advantage of distance, and it seems more accurate to say that the players lost the game because of a better-handled draft by their opponents rather than their individual games. Flyquest failed to break through enemy defensive defenses and was therefore logically inclined.
