Teamfight Tactics patch 12.13 was released on July 13th and brings exciting new changes to the game. This patch has made many adjustments to powerful features like Assassin and Cannoneer, helped with underused features like Trainer and Warrior, and has even been reworked.
Here are the three biggest changes in the update.

The Ragewing feature received some updates in patch 12.13. Xayah and Swain were reliable carriers and comps often include Ragewing 3 to help support them, but Ragewing 6 and 9 aren’t that common. The Ragewing tweak tries to make Ragewing 6 and 9 more valuable, with increased attack speed and Omnivamp for Ragewing 6 and 9, but reduced Omnivamp for Ragewing 3.
The Aurelion Sol revamp is the biggest change to TFT this patch. Reasons for Aurelion Sol’s revamp have been discussed in this article but to reiterate Aurelion Sol was mostly used when he was able to get the mage’s emblem and other than that he didn’t see a lot of game. The changes he received in 12.13, such as his black hole no longer growing when cast and no longer dealing damage to enemies, will hopefully make players more inclined to use it apart from the composition Mage.
The Dragonmancer Volibear is an extremely powerful mid-game unit that can reliably take and deal damage and maintain its strength when given Bloodthirster. In response, this patch is nerfed, Relentless Storm now only deals damage to four enemy units regardless of level, reduced damage per Brutal Storm enemy, and reduced total damage.
