TFT patch 12.13 was released three weeks after patch 12.12 on July 13. Even with patch 12.12b, many changes are expected with next week’s patch. Here are some predictions on what will change in the next patch.
Sy’fen Nerves
This one-hit bot seems a bit stronger after his buffs in patch 12.13b. The combination of increased attack damage and Whisper buffs has made Saifen a threat in competitive play. Take down Rageblade and Bloodthirster and watch Saifen destroy the enemy team one by one.
Olaf’s nerves
Yes again. Olaf took a good beating in 12.12, but Berserker continues to threaten. It’s a three cost unit with insane damage and stamina if it activates Bloodthirster. While Scalescorn has taken a hit in the b-patch, there are so many ways to effectively play Olaf that it’s hard to manage. Worse, you don’t hit enough Olaf to make the composition worthwhile and you switch to Sy’fen, which has a very similar item structure.
A larger than normal B-patch update arrives with a longer than normal patch. 🗒️ This could almost be its own patch, so pay attention, students of Dragon Academy!
The changes will go live today at 12:00 p.m., so read what to expect: https://t.co/eSfxTfKOtz

Frozen Heart Nerves
While none of the items need Frozen Heart to be effective, there’s hardly a scenario where hitting this item doesn’t yield insane benefits. Especially on Assassins, Frozen Heart completely disables the backline. Not only is the item good overall, but Riot seems to want to speed up the game after nerfs to damage and guards in 12.12.
