Patch 12.5 landed in League of Legends last night, but it will take a little longer than usual for MOBAs to find out about the next update. Although they go online roughly every two weeks, the next one won’t arrive until the end of March, at exactly 30. The reason is simple! All Riot Games teams will take a week off.

Even though patch 12.6 was applied in just 4 weeks, The studio looks for any imbalance. If there’s a champion, item, or other issue, the devs – despite their pause – respond to fix the issue.
“For a week in March, Riot is taking a break from normal operations to communicate and discuss our goals in a series of company-wide meetings.
We have grown a lot and it will help all Rioters around the world stay on the same page to continue to experience the best players. Since these meetings are happening across Riot, some games will change the timing of their regular patches during the March cycle.
Watch for communications from your favorite gaming team as March approaches. We wanted to let you know in advance that this break is coming and that we will be returning to normal patches soon.
We hope your favorite champion (or agent, competition, build or deck) will be in Meta by March. You’ll have twice as much time to enjoy it until the irritating hazard reappears.
