One of Riot Games’ biggest projects in League of Legends Season 12 are some of the oldest champions, or those who have retained the least success over time. The devs might not be able to make major visual and gameplay updates all at once, but they manage to make small, minor tweaks for champions whose kit only needs a few tweaks. This rejuvenation process still includes some good changes to character abilities and the upcoming Sivir patch 12.13, when Nilah might also be released.
Changes
Riot Games has already announced the adjustments the champion will make for the next release. While the devs can always tweak their stats based on PBE data or general feedback, the final version of Martial Maiden likely won’t be much different from what’s shown today. Although we know that zoom or elemental damage can be changed, it’s time to check out the new Sivir kit.
To identify
These changes are quite significant, although the identity of the squirrel is well preserved. This should at least have a minor effect on his gameplay, or at least change the spell order based on W’s usefulness. (I’m not sure, but the option is worth considering). Riot Games wanted to retain the character’s identity as a sniper, consistent area damage, and an excellent ability to clear minion waves. He won’t be as good as other characters that have quadrupled in popularity since their update, but Sivir should still be able to fit into some components.
