In Odyssey mode, Star Guardians is part of the alternate world of League of Legends. Riot Games released this family of skins with Star Guardian Lux in May 2015. The following year, Jinx, Lulu, Poppy, and Janna joined the team. Since then, the theme continues with new champions – last date 2020.
This set is very popular with gamers, so it seemed logical that Riot Games would not abandon it. That’s why Star Defenders is back this year for its big summer event that kicks off on July 14th.

In the trailer titled “Return to Valoran City”, the cinematographer connects the landscapes and other characters. You can find many references and other ester eggs (listed in the attached article). We only see Ahri standing on the roof at the end of the scene.
If Riot Games has not yet officially announced the identities of the champions who will be affected by the new skins on the subject, we can already draw some conclusions. - Legendary Skins for Kai and Akali
- Prestigious edition skins for Ekko and Syndra
- 1350 RP skins: Fiddlesticks, Quinn and Morgana (Damaged Star Defenders) and Rell, Sona Qiyana and Nilah (“normal” Star Defenders)
Of course, these are only guesses and we will have to wait for official confirmation from Riot Games. However, the summer event will be huge and will hopefully offer the client a bit more than just tasks – especially The event will feature other Riot Games games (Valorant, Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra).
The wait shouldn’t be long after Patch 12.12 hits servers directly this Wednesday. The 12.13 cycle will start right on the PBE and Riot Games will have to offer various splashes tomorrow., as per usual. Finally, we will reveal the identity of the different champions participating in this new Star Guardian event.
