The new champion Nila has become official in the video!

After a brief period of speculation and leaks, Nila has been officially announced as the new League of Legends Champion. Riot Games has released the first teaser video for the campaign, which will culminate in the character’s release directly to servers. Nila’s kit doesn’t even look like an exposed leak. Had Riot Games lost its ability to keep secrets, the studio could have kept the secrecy of this champion’s spells intact. But now that we can see his abilities in action, we have been able to keep a set of spells that will give us great mobility, area attacks and even an aura that forces us to be immune to certain attacks.

As always, in this type of presentation, Riot Games did not want to give players all the details of Nila’s abilities. So until we see him in action and draw conclusions about his combat skills, we don’t have a precise description to allow us to go into detail. This information will be announced in the coming days. However, here are some of the most interesting details from the video.

• One of the skills will force Nila to approach enemies like Yasuo E – Circle Slash. Details on how it works are still unknown.
• The trailer shows Nila in an aura that makes her immune to Twisted Fate’s W – Good Pickaxe, so we can expect some form of vulnerability. However, it should be noted that after achieving this ability, the opponent is affected by Q perks. For some reason, this aura can “spread” to teammates. We don’t know what effect this has.
• One of the strongest spells can pull enemies in. The effect is similar when Oriana uses her ultimatum.
• One of the whip attacks hits at a great distance, it looks like a skill because it is different from the base animation, although its effect is impossible to determine.

After this little introduction, expect Riot Games to follow the usual procedure. The developer has announced that Nilah will arrive very soon after the release of Bel’Veth, and the Udir update will follow. So we look forward to a summer full of new features.
