Riot Games has announced that the 2022 LCS Championship will be held September 10-11 in downtown Chicago.
In a statement from Riot Games, “From September 10-11, the 2022 LCS Championship hosted by Grubhub will be held at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
The LCS Championship will be the final of the summer season.

Riot Games is back in Chicago for the second time since the 2016 World Cup Quarter-Finals took place at the Chicago Theater. From the weekend of the championship, the three participating teams will qualify for the 2022 World Cup, which will also take place in North America.
Riot Games also announced that LCS will be working with Chicago Park District, Youth Guidance, and I Play Games! As official partners of event youth relations.
United Center is home to two of Chicago’s premier sports teams: the Chicago Bulls (NBA) and the Blackhawks (NHL).
According to Riot Games, tickets go on sale June 24 at 1 p.m. ET. A presale window will open for Mastercard holders on June 23 at 1:00 p.m.
