New special summon animation for honorable players

A while back, Riot Games announced some news that made League of Legends most honored players: Reward at the end of the new season, a special skin for everyone who reaches level 5. Like (ugly) famous counters or even (ugly) emotes, it’s a more lucrative prize than someone who’s already in the game. Although we don’t yet know which champion will be selected or how Riot Games will go through the selection process – for the winning skin, the studio will choose the champion of the season – the announcement was well received by the public.

And very good news, because the studio had another little surprise in store for us!

All new callback animation

What you pay attention to when playing might not be your champion’s summon animation. If they are standardized (the champion is the same in most of their skins, especially older ones), they become progressively more complex. To get this special booster, nothing could be simpler: finish the season after reaching honor rank 5.

The Amplifier comes in Amber and Gold, and the render draws inspiration from the colors and styles already featured in 5 Symbols, with a similar visual seen floating through the champion’s head. Similar to the Challenger amplifier introduced in 2019 – and getting a minor visual upgrade along the way – Developing respect is a way for players to show their skills in the game.

If you reach level 5, this power-up animation will become permanent. But Riot Games knows it’s a great way to reach the pinnacle of good humor. Thus, if you are not worthy of 5 at the end of the season, you will be able to benefit from it even if you were the most honorable player during your previous match..

Along with the new summon animation, Riot has introduced other rewards in addition to the current one for honorary players. After reaching the maximum level of Dignity in the game, players receive “5 Honor Badges” which they can spend in the Shop. Buy skins and chrome for Warwick Gray and Medieval Twitch. And of course, the special skin that will be released later this year.
