Updating past League of Legends champions remains one of Riot Games’ top priorities. Although the developer will make major changes to the game, he has not lost any visual updates and we will discuss another change rate in the next patch. One of the chosen champions is Twisted Fate. Card Master will benefit from a complete modernization of spell effects which will be reviewed, as well as its default appearance.

this should be noted These updates do not affect the champion model or gameplay.. They only modify the skills’ visual effects (VFX). With this, Riot Games hopes to modernize the champion a bit and bring it up to modern quality standards. However, these surgeries are not performed solely for cosmetic purposes. Riot Games often selects champions that don’t meet clarity standards to fix bugs and make it easier to identify new effects.
In the Twisted Fate example, here are all the changes the champion has undergone:
- major attacks : Seashells will now always be light blue, so you can easily tell them apart from side-effect cards.
- A-Assets : Maps will look different to match the new Z models. The orbit will be more clearly marked and will leave small traces.
- W – good herbs : All card models and hit effects have been changed. The blue card explosion flashes slightly, red shows the movement area more clearly, yellow knocks the enemy to the ground.
- E-packet : The passive indicator is adapted to the current basic attack model.
- R – Destiny : The first activation will be more visible to opponents and will have a new look. The second activation has also been changed to make it more distinctive and different.
The fix not only affects the default skin, but also applies to all champion skins to varying degrees.. Riot Games has already identified the changes to each skin during the current PBE cycle. Please note that these improvements are planned for the next patch, 12.10.
