Riot Games has sued Moonton multiple times for allegedly copying Wild Rift in Magic Rush: Heroes and Mobile Legends: 5v5 MOBA. Every time games disappeared from stores, a new version quickly emerged with a new name, and each time Riot saw it as an infringement of League of Legends intellectual property.

Alleged violations include user interface similarity, character design, in-game abilities, promotional materials and more.
