Only Rockstar Games knows what environment GTA 6 will be played in, but it looks like fans want to scare Japan.
NEW YORK — Fans have been buzzing since early February as what many have thought for years has finally come true: GTA 6 just got better. Developer Rockstar Games finally officially confirmed it, and many fans were thrilled. He has since remained silent on the next GTA title. Fans are now discussing possible cities that GTA 6 can envy.

GTA 6: Tokyo, Mumbai and even Dubai: fans voted on Reddit
Vote on Reddit: The fact that fans have no official GTA 6 news doesn’t stop them from speculating about its audacious timing. Reddit is clearly the right place for this, so the setup below is already upvoted on the forum. Fans vote for which city GTA 6 should envy. You can nominate between these cities:

Interestingly, one of these cities was already set for the Grand Theft Auto series. New York is probably known to most fans as Liberty City from GTA IV. It’s unclear if Journey will return there in GTA 6. However, there are rumors that Liberty City is set to be added to GTA Online.
This is the city fans want: You can vote on Reddit until April 14. But a favorite is already on the rise. Tokyo, the capital of Japan, received the most votes ever. A total of 5,700 people have voted so far (as of April 12, 2022). New York is second in calibrated behind Tokyo, followed by Others.
GTA 6: Fans want Tokyo as next set – realistic?
Are these cities realistic? Of course, fans can and do want a lot from the next Rockstar Games game. According to fans, GTA 6 could be the game of the century with these eight features. And most of the fans still have some wishes for the set that can be fulfilled in proportion. Many players want a Vice City setting for GTA 6, and previous rumors point to this setting as well.
So how realistic are wishes for GTA 6 like Tokyo, Dubai or Mumbai? Well, the New York-based developer probably won’t meet those requirements. So far, the Grand Theft Auto series has only been released in the United States, with the exception of a DLC set in London. However, this was the absolute exception and hasn’t been like this since its launch in 1999.
The New York developer will likely reuse an American city as a backdrop and maybe even think about it later. The escape from Tesina América is therefore still inside the chamber. He claims that GTA 6 fans will have problems not only in the United States, but also in Latin America.
