Looking to become Super Saiyan in Fortnite? Here’s what you need to know.
The Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z collaboration is still going strong. Hailed by many fans as the best-run crossover in Fortnite history, this game showcases the legendary exploits of Saiyans Goku and Vegeta as they venture across the island.
Of course, Saiyans are human-like alien species descended from Goku and Vegeta. Fans of the epic anime series will remember Super Saiyan Mode as when strong emotions such as anger or sadness cause the Saiyan to physically transform. This transformation results in increased energy and power, which of course is good for combat.

Complete a quest in Dragon Ball Adventure Island, use the Kamehameha skill, quickly move around the island with the Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) mobility item, and more.

Going Super Saiyan in Fortnite is more of a style choice than an emotional trauma. The skins for Goku and Vegeta are Super Saiyan substyles. The Son Goku outfit includes Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Ultra Instinct substyles. Vegeta Outfit includes Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Super Saiyan Blue Evolved substyles.
Purchasing these skins is the only way for players to upgrade to Super Saiyan in Fortnite. It is important to note that these Super Saiyan substyles are cosmetic only and do not provide any in-game combat advantage.
