There’s a new weekly mission in Fortnite that challenges players to defeat Timber Pines with the Ripsaw Launcher. Here’s what you need to know.

Another week, another set of missions and challenges. This week, players will receive the Ripsaw Launcher added as part of the June 28 patch for Ripsaw Launcher Week. Players must then pick up the Ripsaw Launcher and use it to knock down pine trees.

While this challenge might seem easy enough on paper, figuring out where to find the pine might be a little harder than you expect. Luckily, we’ve rounded up the details so you know exactly where to go for your next game.

There is one main area players need to focus on when it comes to finding the pine. In the upper left part of the map, you will find many pines around Lojam Lotus or Rive Cave.

These particular trees stand out from your average foliage because of their size. The pines are recognizable by their enormous trunks and their impressive heights. They don’t miss until they get to the snowy areas of the map.

To complete this challenge, you must have a Ripsaw Launcher which can be found scattered around the map. Just equip yourself with this special weapon, go to the forest pine of your choice, aim and shoot.

Players can also knock down a pine with harvesting tools or another weapon, but the Ripsaw Launcher is the weapon of choice for this particular challenge.
