FIFA 23 will add new icons to FIFA Ultimate Team and add to the roster of 100+ football legends. Some new icons have already leaked, including Alfredo Di Stefano and David Villa.
According to the leak foot sheriff and FIFA Romania FIFA 23’s new icon on Twitter is Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso. He was recognized as a defensive midfielder at Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich and is considered one of the strongest midfielders in the history of Spanish football.

The leaked card is the 87-rated CDM version of Alonso, and it’s unclear if the stats are official or which version of his Icon card he’s guessing. Xabi’s base token card will most likely be rated between 86 and 87, so that’s what the card might look like at launch.
EA has yet to confirm or deny this leaked icon, but if Alonso gets an icon card in FIFA 22, it will be his first in FIFA 22 since FIFA 17.
