The Warzone developers’ “media tour” journey appears to be a dialogue about the general direction of Beth Royal’s hit title that continues in the feeds of various content creators.
Recently, Activision Creative Lead Josh Bridge joined OpTic TeeP in explaining why Warzone may not have a bigger turnover on the map, and FaZe Swagg in figuring out why the console’s FOV slider didn’t. Now, Raven Software’s creative lead, Taven Timmons, is set to talk about possible changes to the sniper rifle class very soon.
Timmons, “3. I would love to have this discussion as we approach the season because again, I don’t want it to leak and my DM shines from the team while listening to the gunslinger. a meta change for Snipers for Season 3. I’ll happily say that.
The announcement was made when Timmons joined Baka Bros. of Complexity for an interview on Tuesday. In Hector, “Repul” Torres supported the community, noting that the caldera is such an open map that an unhealthy number of players might choose to cut it over Verdunsk.
Repulze also suggested that fast-paced meta snipers like the Modern Warfare Kar98k and Swiss K31 shouldn’t be able to hit players from the rear, and that destructive power should only remain for snipers. heavy elite (eg AX). -50) instead.
“I think we all agree it’s too late,” Timmons said. “The sniper meta hasn’t changed forever. I feel very good about the direction we are taking with this.
Ultimately, the Sniper Rifle was quite slow compared to other weapon classes, given that the Modern Warfare Kar98k and Swiss K31 were useless options for a while. That said, it will be interesting to watch if developers follow their strong trend, which will make the other options much more affordable.
