While there are plenty of issues to address when it comes to Warzone Season 2, armor plates shouldn’t be the only ones. It can be less annoying as the health is completely degraded in the season 2 reloaded patch, it’s never a good feeling when the community adapts to the system and the devs decide to change it after a long time.
In this case, players killed with a full bag would drop eight plates if someone picked them up, and Stachel another eight. Leave a total of sixteen plates. It was a boon for teams playing aggressively or needing to be rescued again. But that was also a flaw. Dying players will not drop eight plates on the ground when they die, they will simply drop a bag with the number of plates remaining inside, meaning you now have up to eight plates to loot.
Raven Software admitted this was a bug in the past and did nothing about it. Back then, players were so used to making mistakes that they thought it was a normal system. Then a change occurs without warning and players are less confused.
And while the change is entirely plausible and makes more sense, it should have happened months ago.
