Our lineup of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 sniper rifles is here to determine which guns will be put to best use in Caldera, Fortune’s Keep, and Rebirth Island with the release of Raven Software’s latest major balancing update.
While we didn’t get a brand new sniper rifle with the Season 5 patch, there were some big changes to individual weapon class options and the category as a whole, with a shiny resistance band . So here is a detailed breakdown of how sniper rifles stack in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5.

Layers
The Gorenko AT Rifle, 20mm ZRG, and 3-Line Rifle remain comfortably at S Rank to start Season 5. Although the 3-Line Rifle does make a pretty solid cut in the .30-06 magazine attachment shots, it should stay pretty close to the other two options listed here.
Arrange
Rank A has five snipers that are still quite suitable for use on the battlefield and are generally very well balanced. Essentially, these options sit outside of the main meta, but can still get the job done and keep you competitive. LW3 – Tundra received a few marginal buffs, but those probably aren’t enough to break the rankings here.
B-level
These weapons remain valid at Tier B, but could still use a small balloon to entice more players to seriously consider using them. Like the LW3 – Tundra, the Type 99 has had a few fringe followers, but there’s probably nothing to write home about.
layer C
Tier C includes three rifles that are definitely in need of a little more buff and are nowhere near making their way into the Warzone meta.
