“Getting store info” loop error still blocks players from Warzone

The infinite loop issue of “receiving store information” resurfaced in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.

Just like with other games, issues with updates and game files aren’t a fun part of the Warzone experience, and this seems to be the latest issue that’s been bothering many players lately.

Essentially, when logging into Warzone, players will notice one of the pop-up prompts: “In Progress: Retrieving store information”. Typically, this should just flash the screen for a second and then immediately allow players access to the menu.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be the case for many players on all platforms at the moment, as when this prompt appears the game gets stuck in a loading loop for up to an hour for some, or even crashes the title . nothing.

Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, there doesn’t appear to be a clear fix or solution to the problem.

Raven Software added the bug to its official Trello board on August 8, but it should only be a matter of time before it’s fixed.
