The LA Thieves are victorious in this year’s Call of Duty League Championship.
Yesterday was the LA Thieves’ first win at the CDL Championship since the league’s inception, beating last year’s champion Atlanta FaZe in an explosive final. The Rogues made their mark with a 5-2 win over Draza, Kenny, Octane and Envoy.

It’s been a somewhat tumultuous start to the season for the LA Thieves, who haven’t had many wins in most major tournaments. But the team pulled out all the stops for Major IV in New York and brought home the trophy. While many were unsure if this would match the team’s performance on the Champs, the LA Thieves quickly allayed their concerns.
Last year’s champions Atltanta FaZe showed they were still a force to be reckoned with as they made it to the finals despite having a pretty shaky season throughout the tour. The tough loss means the team will have a lot to prove as they head into next season.
The 2023 season of the Call of Duty League will begin in a few months using the Modern Warfare 2 version. Players can say goodbye to the Vanguard and discover a new battlefield.
