Just this week, July 28, Warzone Reloaded Season 4 was released and it really shook up the current meta.
Some of the best guns in the game like Marco, Blixen, and the NZ-41 have received some much needed nerfs. Now that meta weapons are starting to be nerfed, new weapons have a chance to enter the meta or take over.
One of the weapons that has a chance of returning to the meta is the MP5. Not Modern Warfare MP5, Black Ops: Cold War MP5.
In the latest patch notes, the MP5 received two changes. “Maximum damage range increased from 7.6 meters to 10 meters” and “Neck slot damage multiplier increased from 1.01 to 1.2”, these two changes again make the MP5 a viable weapon.
Thanks to new MP5 fans, FaZe Swagg has tried the gun. Not only does he think the BOCW MP5 is one of the best SMGs, he thinks it’s the best SMG in the game.
Swagg states that once broken, the CW MP5 breaks down very quickly. One of the reasons is the increased damage range. He claimed the gun had no range, so he failed.
It’s a Cold War weapon, so there can be up to five attachments. However, thanks to power-ups, attachments can be spent elsewhere. This is Swagg’s BOCW MP5 version.

– Rear arm: snake wrap
– to get supplies: Raider stock
These attachments are a great gun that can really play in the new meta. This weapon can be played with any secondary weapon, regardless of range.
