Popular Warzone creator JGOD revealed in a recent video that the XM4 can compete with the best meta-weapons around. While the NZ-41 and Marco 5 currently dominate the meta, JGOD is adamant that this Cold War AR is still deadly.
This won’t be XM4’s first meta weapon, as in previous seasons the weapon was near the top of the meta, but currently the weapon sits at a weak but still solid 1.3% pick. These percentages suggest that fans are still enjoying the XM4 and that the Cold War AR is still a reliable weapon when dropping into Caldera or Fortune’s Keep.

This loadout structure is used for long to medium range situations, so I recommend pairing the XM4 with some meta SMGs. What makes the XM4 so reliable is the gun’s low recoil, large magazine and above average TTK. It may not hit as hard as today’s meta pistols, but the recoil and magazine size may make up for its other shortcomings.
