Getting gasoline is one of the most frustrating ways to lose in any Battle Royale game. Luckily, Warzone has a gas mask that allows you to temporarily breathe gas.
But shooting while your character decides to wear a mask is the saddest way to lose.
But as Warzone Season 5 approaches, a new feature could prevent this dire situation.
At the start of Season 5, Warzone is expected to add a new feature that allows the player to take off and put on the mask instead of putting it on automatically.
Although Warzone Season 5 won’t be available for another month, the feature seems to have made its way into the game’s settings, which u/aur0n discovered on Reddit.
The feature is called “gas mask toggle only” and you can turn it on or off. If the function is deactivated, nothing will change and the gas mask will work as usual. If you enable the feature, the gas mask can only be put on or taken off when the player switches buttons.
Warzone Season 5 adds players the ability to manually turn the gas mask on and off.
The mask will still be automatically removed if it breaks in mid-fire, but this has been a huge request from players since Warzone’s release.

ModernWarzone also noted that this is a feature that players have wanted for a long time since Warzone was released.
