Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer launch date just leaked. According to Tom Henderson, the reveal will be released in September, although an exact date has yet to be announced.
In February 2022, Activision Blizzard announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 would be rebooted, similar to the 2019 re-release of the original Modern Warfare. Alongside Modern Warfare 2 is a new version of the hit battle royale FPS Call of Duty: Warzone. Despite the Warzone update, many fans are still waiting to hear about the traditional Call of Duty multiplayer experience included in this new Modern Warfare 2 release.
Tom Henderson has announced that the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer game will be released in September 2022. The leak also calls for a multiplayer beta to be released later in the month. While the multiplayer announcement is incredibly close to the game’s October 28 release date, Henderson says marketing will increase as the game gets closer to release.
While Henderson can’t confirm how the announcement will be made, he expects it to come via a live stream with developer interviews.
