Hip-hop artist Cardi B’s latest music video for “Hot Shit” was released yesterday. Fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Card is the main character of the game, Lt. She loved having a fancy necklace with the likeness of Simon “Ghost” Riley.
At first glance, Cardi B doesn’t seem like a typical COD fan, but since 2017, her husband Offset has been a well-known member of the COD community.
The new music video also features performances from Lil Durk and Kanye West. The necklace was displayed for the first time, Cardi said, “I don’t know what’s colder man, is it my heart or my necklace?” appears when you give the line.

While Activision is unlikely to take a serious interest in jewelry, themed necklaces can prove to be a valuable marketing asset in attracting speakers, official or otherwise. A fashion icon in her own right, Cardi B definitely wears it well in the video. Plus, the social media buzz it creates probably won’t hurt the game’s sales.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II continues the action-packed story of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019). It will be released for PlayStation, Xbox and PC on October 28, 2022.
