The Call of Duty League (CDL) released its second general update on Wednesday, making a few announcements ahead of its season’s first major episode this weekend.

First of all, Tsay announced that the 5th round of the timbreaker in control mode, which decides which team will play defense, will no longer be based on eliminations but on objective hits.

Additionally, Caye said that after discussion between players and developers, the bomb site in Bocage Search & Destroy has been moved from inside the building to the outer courtyard.
One final competitive note on the Call of Duty: Video trailblazer’s status is that Pros and Companions are looking at new Season 2 maps (e.g. Casablanca) to potentially add to the revenue.
However, the biggest news of the day was the announcement that famed Call of Duty cast duo Clint “Maven” Evans and Joe “MerK” Deluka will be returning with CDL’s participation in the most important events of league of the year.
“They were always part of our plans,” Tsay said. “We couldn’t talk about it because of our ongoing negotiations, but it’s over and so I’m delighted to say that these two, who are obviously very talented, will be some of our greatest and most memorable moments. brilliant at CDL.” With our majors, our playoffs and our champions.”

Peterson and Caye then went on to discuss the league’s online server workflow, detailing the extensive server selection process for each online game.
According to Tsay, around 90% of CDL matches this year hit the 10 millisecond game lag target.
Additionally, Tsay discovered that CDL uses the new Minimum Latency tool to manually “add” a ping to a team if the competing differences between them are large and noticeable, when a 10ms goal cannot be achieved.
Finally, Cey announced the New Year of the Year award, among the new talents who took the stage this year.
