Many fans and geeks have arrived with the July 7th update for Call of Duty: Warzone. One of the most notable nerds to shake up the CoD community was the NZ-41, which was one of the most powerful weapons in Warzone for a while before the update.
Raven Software attempted to nerf the NZ-41 several times during its reign, but the gun remained one of the strongest options. However, after the last attempt, Warzone specialist WhosImmortal reported that the NZ-41 was “not nerfed” and was still going strong.
According to the July 7 patch notes, the NZ-41 received a 20% reduction in recoil recovery. In a video posted on July 11, WhosImmortal shared Sym.gg’s stats and revealed that the nerf isn’t as extreme as we initially thought. Sym.gg found that the reverse recovery of NZ-41 actually only decreased by 2.78%, instead of the 20% reported by Raven.
“New Zealand’s backlash recovery won’t be much different from the previous nerf because it hasn’t really been nerfed,” WhosImmortal said. “Also, recoil isn’t a major factor on most firearms, especially in New Zealand. Even if the nerf is just 20% – pissing off 20% of anything isn’t always nothing.
WhosImmortal absolutely agrees that New Zealand needs a nerf. However, it looks like Raven Software still has some work to do to really piss this weapon off in Warzone.
