Warzone Season 4 added a new map to Fortune’s Keep, new weapons like the NZ-41, and new game modes like Looting Gold. One thing he didn’t add to upset a vocal group was the balance change for sniper rifles.
Snipers were dropped in Season 3 after the Kar98k got a nerf, and it hasn’t been a mainstream sniper option for players since.
This caused the meta to focus entirely on Assault Rifles and SMGs, leading fans to complain about the spacing and lack of variety.

Raven Software has yet to fix the sniper issue, which has led to backlash and complaints from fans. A Redditor named ibabyXD posted a video highlighting the biggest issues with snipers in Warzone. The video shows that some snipers need three shots to kill an enemy.
Sniper marks like the Kar98k and Swiss K31 are high mobility with one shot kill potential, it’s easy to see why that’s a problem. Recently HDR, a much slower sniper, has become popular with fans, but is still not dominated as it was used by older snipers.
Season 4 is still a long way off, and in the weeks to come, I hope Raven Software can answer calls from interested fans and introduce snipers to Warzone.
