It looks like some players have released skins in Call of Duty: Warzone soon.
The leak was reported by Reddit user Thehumantrypod while writing a post on CODWarzone: “My son has touched the skin of American football.” The post shows a player currently wearing an unreleased skin that looks like a generic football shirt.
This isn’t the first time Warzone has leaked future skins, as the Scream Ghostface skin was leaked in October 2021. However, the difference is that unlike traitors, only the Ghostface skin model was leaked. Play with the skin before everyone else.
With the advent of the football skin in Warzone, it’s unclear if Activision Blizzard will potentially partner with the NFL to release the names and logos of actual teams and players. A Reddit post showing the leak shows a generic football shirt, but that spot may be because the skin isn’t planned yet.
The NFL is no stranger to collaboration in video games. In addition to Madden’s annual lineup, the NFL has previously collaborated with Fortnite on skins, as well as events featuring NFL players playing Fortnite. The partnership between Activision Blizzard and the NFL has not yet been confirmed.
