Warzone players still struggle with Radar Jammers and say their drop rates are still too high even though they’ve already been dropped.
Radar Jammers are a particularly dangerous device that players use to block their opponents’ movements. Jamers recaps player minimaps in 45 seconds and breaks down Carnage, heartbeat sensors, and pings for anyone who catches their ray. It also prevents players from seeing the circle when it’s closed, meaning multiple players have completed their kills through the device.
They were added as part of Vanguard’s Season 3 update for Warzone and quickly saw drop rates plummet, but players still think the device is too busy.
A Reddit user took a quote from CODWarzone to voice his complaints, saying, “The radar lock drop rate is too high!
“It’s a big part of the game, but there’s just too much of it. It would be better if they were rarer than ignoring the minimap because it was noisy.
The post quickly met with other gamers who shared their experiences with Radar Jammers. One user suggested the device became an acquisition rather than field loot: “They shouldn’t be in the game, they shouldn’t completely smash someone in a huge radius for too long, they shouldn’t should not be able to break the pipeline, zone management, teammates, purchase, etc. they shouldn’t see. . “If they want to break up with them, it should be like 10K BUY, not free ground.”
Others were fine with the Jammers staying in the match, but felt its 125-yard radius, or 45-second duration, needed to be reduced.
Admittedly, the radius contains a large portion of Fortune’s Keep’s new map, which means players are much more susceptible than other maps. Since Warzone is in the early days of Season 4, we have a chance to see Radar Jamer nerfs sooner.
