The Semtex in Call of Duty: Warzone is the perfect counter weapon for the enemy, rushing you with the Riot Shield or trying to kill you when close. However, his huge contract has just been discovered and posted on the internet for everyone to see, potentially generating some random nerves for Semtex.

In the Reddit post below, user u/LordTexugo posted snippets of the strategy he discovered while playing Warzone in the r/CODWarzone subreddit. In it, u/LordTexugo carries the riot shield necessary for this mechanic to work and chases down enemy players who attempt to hit them with a kill. Each enemy responds by dropping Semtex on u/LordTexugo and punching them into Riot Shield. Usually this will be a death sentence as there is no previously discovered way to get rid of Semtex, when it hits your body it explodes and kills you within seconds. However, with each clip, u/LordTexugo immediately drops his shields, which removes Semtex from his player, instantly returns him, and uses him to shield him from explosion damage from Semtex, who is currently sitting on the ground. u/LordTexugo then tracks down his enemies and kills them.

It’s unclear if this was a deliberate strategy by the developers to counter Semtex or an unintended result of the game’s current mechanics, but it will of course be a ploy that players will immediately begin training to achieve. another option for themselves. A bag of tricks to survive and fight as long as possible.
