Many game studios that used to focus on single-player gaming have gotten burned in the past by trying to dive into multiplayer games. For example, Finnish Remedy Entertainment knows about this thanks to the co-op failure called FBC: Firebreak. But even in this case, there are still companies whose management believes in success. Like Quantic Dream.
David Cagehead of a French company whose portfolio includes such classic single-player games as Heavy rain, Fahrenheit or Detroit: Become Human, announced on the official website that Quantic Dream begins to write a new chapter in its history. The company has had to change and grow a lot since 2018, as evidenced by doubling its headcount, opening a branch office in Montreal, Canada, moving to a new headquarters in Paris, developing its own technology, or creating a publishing division, Spotlight by Quantic Dream.
