It looks like Call of Duty will continue the story of Steve Aok and Pete Davidson’s famous appearances in new commercials.
Several new trailers for Modern Warfare 2 have been released ahead of the game’s official release on June 8. The first teaser posted on the official Call of Duty Twitter account, featuring former SNL player Pete Davidson seated, was released on June 2. The back of the truck has MW2 symbols like Price and Ghost.

The teaser, titled “Now We Know How Pete Will Be on Saturday Night”, shows Davidson asking the other characters if they brought food for the mission before properly wielding the dangerous weapon; a truck.
The second teaser, released on June 6, features the same cast as the MW2 character, but this time with DJ Steve Aok beating one of the characters to ask Shaukder what he’s listening to. “Oh, it’s me.”

Aoki then offers the team a frosted cake with “Stay Frosty” on it, but Price notices once again that DJ is stuck in the truck.
The Call of Duty series is no stranger to using famous people in some of its advertising materials. Marvel star Chris Evans previously appeared in a Call of Duty Online ad campaign in 2015 that was only sold in China.
It will be interesting to find out what the game includes before the premiere, as Modern Warfare 2’s official worldwide rollout begins tomorrow.
