Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28, Activision announced on its Call of Duty Twitter account along with the artwork.
Infinity Ward’s sequel Modern Warfare (2019) Modern Warfare 2 was confirmed as the next Call of Duty game by Activision on April 28. The logo has themes similar to M and W from MW 2019, but the green themes highlight the Roman numeral for two. We now have the cover art and release date available for the next COD release.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will officially launch on October 28. Besides revealing the release date, there’s a lot to consider from the announcement. Activision released a promotional video for the freighter, where reviews were scattered before the study was revealed.
The top of the box features the night vision, themes, and neon green or green Simon “Ghost” Riley logo. Most fans would agree that this is one of the best looks in Call of Duty history.
The biggest clue in the video was the graphics on the shipping container which read J-8 -22. Most people expect this to be a hint of the reveal date after it was previously leaked that Modern Warfare 2 will be released in June.
Tom Henderson said the game would be announced in early June before Summer Games Fest. The Summer Games Festival will start on June 9, and in the video it seems that this new indicative date will be June 8.
