A Warzone player was killed with an “instant death” error after winning the Gulag

A Warzone player was killed with an “instant death” error after winning the Gulag

It’s safe to say that the Gulag had no problems in Call of Duty, starting with an error kicking the victors out of the safe zone boundaries, and secondly causing the player to die by reason for remaining conflict from previous combat: Battlefield.

In Season 3, a Warzone player discovered a fatal flaw in the Gulag system where, whether he won or not, the all-new Caldera Hold seemed to end games. Check this error encountered by a Reddit user u/I_AM_THE_SEB.

On May 16, I_AM_THE_SEB posted on the Warzone subreddit “New instant death after Gulag victory?” He posted a thread with the title.

As evidenced by the 15-second clip, despite defeating his opponent and returning to the caldera rite of passage, his I_AM_THE_SEB run ends abruptly despite 47 players remaining in the lobby.

Talk about the unlucky.

The hallmark of Warzone is that players who die late in the game in Verdunsk are taken to the Gulag, where they can fight another player 1v1.

In Season 3, Raven Software noted that Gulag winners improved their standing by making them appear closer to their team or roster.

Of course, this mistake seems like a rare and isolated occurrence at the moment, so hopefully it doesn’t become a trend as the season progresses.
