Modern Warfare 2 is right around the corner, and as more and more information leaks out about Call of Duty’s next installment, fans are getting more and more excited about what’s to come. A recent leak revealed that Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will include marketable cosmetics and skins.
According to Call of Duty’s reliable description ghost of hope, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 can be obtained from commercial cosmetics, including skins and weapons. The new leak says that these trade and cosmetic plans will come out of MW2’s third mode called “DMZ”. The new mode is said to be inspired by Escape From Tarkov and includes a market where items can be bought or traded.

Trade cosmetics are common in many games, whether it’s sports games like the FIFA 22 transfer market or the CS:GO market where players can trade their rare skins and stickers.
According to TheGhostofHope, “You can get skins, blueprints, and more from the DMZ to use in multiplayer and possibly Warzone 2.
If this leak turns out to be true, it will be a huge game-changer for CoD players and will add a new dimension to competition in multiplayer and Warzone. We’ll be waiting for Infinity Ward to reveal more about the latest CoD game coming out in June.
