Call of Duty: Warzone has had many game-breaking glitches and issues over the years that have been extremely frustrating for players. One of the most famous inventions in the “Devil Weapon” Rift was fixed for a while, but now it looks like it’s back.
While Reddit user and Warzone player OowlwoO was trying to make money playing Rebirth, a Demon Gun bug suddenly appeared and took up most of the screen, then quickly left the player and is returned to the main menu.
For those who haven’t encountered this flaw yet, the flaw distorts the weapon’s texture, causing the weapon itself to turn into a huge dotted monster that obscures the player’s screen and view. However, this version of the Demon Gun delay appears to have caused an upgrade that removes players from the game altogether.
Game breaking delays are added as non-game related threats in Warzone at the moment, but they aren’t really meant to be in the game again. Players are already fighting against each other, in addition to Godzilla and King Kong in the Caldera, but the “Demon Gun” can now be the most dangerous of the bunch if players pull it out and load it into the main menu.
The Reddit video is still relatively new, so it’s likely that Raven Software or Activision will continue to patch and fix the bug, so be careful the next time you jump on Caldera or Rebirth Island.
