With the release of Modern Warfare 2, many fans are wondering if the game will have a multiplayer public beta and when it will open. At the time of writing, however, Activision hasn’t mentioned any online preview experiences available, but here’s what we know that might show up one way or another.
The third mode of Modern Warfare II will be activated in the BETA “DMZ”.

The upcoming 2022 title has received a few mentions here and there, especially with its teaser and logo. Activision and development studio Infinity Ward kept the game radically different.
However, it is still possible to have a beta as most AAA studios solicit feedback from their players and the public to create the best version of the game possible. They remain one of the most effective ways to stress test gaming, as they provide an incredible number of in-game testers.
This is especially true for MW2’s third mode: DMZ mode. DMZ is a famous new game mode described by TheGhostofHope as an escape from the Tarkov-like game mode. He said this is a huge mod that requires a lot of maintenance and ironing, which makes the beta version more likely.
