Apex Legends Dataminers confirms ‘smart’ lotteries with unlimited teasers

On April 1, 2022, trusted Datamainer Shrugtal revealed the existence of “smart” bundles being added to Apex Legends. They say these looters are programmed to give players exactly what they need based on their current workload and items. Some thought it was an April Fool’s joke – a feature too good to be true – until it was confirmed by another well-known data scientist, Clarindro (@KingRindo).

KralRindo announced that the boxes were added to the game files with the patch at that time. Now, with the reveal of the Unshackled teasers in Storm Point, the boxes have once again been confirmed on the Command Center monitor screens, thanks to a cameo.

In a tweet posted to Twitter on Tuesday, April 19, KralRindo posted three screenshots showing the different monitors and their contents. One of the screens clearly shows an intelligent Lotbina, confirming that she will likely jump right into the game at some point.

It would be a huge boon for players if they removed certain RNGs that follow the battlefield to claim loot. Players will be confident that they will be rewarded with exactly what they need to succeed, rather than opening the box and hoping to find useful gear.

DBLTAP was unable to confirm the release date of these boxes at the time of writing. However, due to their recent tease, players may see them before the end of this season.
