A new update has been released for Apex Legends with some new settings added to the game’s last-gen update.
Things have gotten a little rough lately in Apex Legends, with the recent release of next-gen game updates causing some issues for players. Xbox Series X game | Those running it on S consoles have encountered a number of performance issues, especially when using a third-party controller.
In addition to third-party controllers not working, gamers on all subsequent console generations are experiencing issues with their frame rates and settings resetting without warning. All of this has been a source of frustration for many gamers who have been eagerly awaiting the next-gen update.
Luckily, Respawn took notice of the issues and released a few hotfixes to get everything back in order.

While this latest update is minor and doesn’t add any new content, it should help it run smoothly on next-gen consoles. Wattson and the Pathfinder Network also no doubt praise their ability to scale while playing Storm Point.
As for “console patches of different generations”, there were no specific details on what it was. However, it’s safe to assume that these will be global performance-based adjustments.
