An Apex Legends player cheated while streaming to point out how slowly Respawn Entertainment was catching and banning players. As one Twitter user noted, this player spins in front of 2,000 people without any repercussions. They didn’t try to hide their lies either.
In the shots, you can see enemy players using the Player Indicator hack, which gives them access to their location.
The report appears to have been running for at least a week using Wallhacks, aimbots, and speed boosters. It looks like the Twitch account was finally banned at this point, but that was almost a week later.
If the cheater didn’t go public and draw attention to it, think about it. Who knows how much longer this traitor might last. Even some of the more subtle tricks like walhack and map hack are hard to spot. Respawn relies heavily on player reports and it’s hard to tell who the hackers are when using more sophisticated tricks.
This is why anti-fraud software is so important, and it looks like the Apex Legends version should always work.
