Professional Apex Legends player Brandon “Aisu” Winn’s latest opinion on the ratings scheme has sparked public controversy.
Several players of Apex Legends, the strategic shooter from Respawn Entertainment, have expressed their displeasure with the current state of competitive play. The sequential diet from which this segment of society descended has long been a point of contention. Players talk about various topics in the lobby, such as inappropriate skills, inappropriate corruption, etc.
Now, one of the professional Apex Legends players has announced on social media his possible solution: an exclusive solo note.
The real downside to apix notation is that it only has one line. But you’re not ready for this conversation

Of course, Aceu is not the first to express this opinion. Twitch Streamer and Content Creator Panduhhxo (@panduhhxo) posted the same idea about a week before March 26.
“You know what Apex means in terms of ‘capacity’. panduhh wrote“We really should be alone in the queue. Delete premium queues. Honestly, it will make it more interesting and it will really work.
The general rationale behind this, of course, is that the private experience alone removes the dead weight that can come from associating with others in an addictive storyline. The only players you will have to worry about are themselves. It also removes the two/three stack dominance issue common in Apex Legends ranked lobbies.
However, as in all cases, the sentiment is far from universal. In the comments, other players were quick to disagree with the idea, saying it would eliminate the “team” strategy needed to play games with others. If not, how will players learn team synergy and composition?
The middle ground seems to be a mix of both: adding a custom solo queue option for players who want to test their strengths one by one.
Could single-player scoring experience be a missing factor in Apex Legends?
