In Apex Legends, Octane remains one of the games, even if he is not the funniest character, both in terms of gameplay and personality.
After all, the only reason High Speed Daredevil joined Apex Games was to find that the maximum adrenaline rush through small online cheats couldn’t provide that anymore.
But even though the Apex Legends community had learned a lot more about Octane by looking at his real face, from his real name to Octavio Silva, it was still unclear why Respawn Entertainment hadn’t given him the masked skin. Game on. However, thanks to a recent tweet from one of the creators, we seem to have our answer.
? Developer’s note: I’ve always asked “When can we hide the skin for Octane?” it is requested. So that would be an empty statement for everything! ? #stoicoctane pic.twitter.com/EOri3yDYGo

Respawn’s chief host, Moi Para, tweeted on Thursday, “I’ve always been asked ‘When can we hide the skin for Octane?’ is requested.” The main challenge was that we didn’t do any face animations because the device doesn’t need/include a face component. So it would just stare blankly at everything!
“It’s much more practical to wear a mask or a helmet on a character that already has a face, than the other way around. Consider Wraith’s Voidwalker – he was able to do both because he had face classification from the very beginning. “Bloodhound or arrow would be very difficult.”
As of this writing, the Apex Legends community has also gotten to see what the devil would look like without his mask thanks to a hidden Easter egg, though it’s unclear if Respawn plans to release an open leather case. .
